The Pursuit of Peace: A Dream of Unearthing Danger and Rediscovering Connection
I dreamt I was chasing or leading a tiny white peaceful animal out of the house. Outside, right by the door I noticed 2 white chickens buried alive. When I tried to get close, giant lizards with scales, looking like scorpions crawled out. I went back in the house to tell the people I was with and we got spades and shovels. The one guy hoped on the spade to try kill the lizards. I don’t know if he did. And then I was with my ex. He was my boyfriend in varsity more than decade ago. We are still close. In the dream we were holding hands like we used to. That was our thing, we never stopped touching each other’s hands. It didn’t matter where we were, we would find each other’s hands. Under the table, across the table…..we did that in the dream too and I was asked why? And told his girlfriend doesn’t like it
The tiny white animal is likely a symbol of peace, innocence, or purity that you are trying to lead out of your subconscious and into your waking life. The appearance of buried chickens could be a representation of repressed emotions or memories that you have buried deep within you. The giant lizards with scales and scorpion-like appearance may represent fear, danger, or a feeling of vulnerability that you may encounter if you try to confront these buried emotions.
Going back inside the house to tell others and getting tools to deal with the lizards could imply that you are seeking support and help in dealing with these buried emotions.
The appearance of your ex-boyfriend in the dream and your activity of holding hands could represent a desire to be connected to someone who was once familiar and comforting to you. It's possible that the hand-holding gesture symbolizes a sense of partnership, comfort, or security that you wish to have in your waking life. The fact that you were questioned about it could suggest that you feel judged or criticized by others who don't understand this connection.
